An Evening of Performance
with DAN KWONG
A multimedia work-in-progress exploring
the irony of being Asian American vs. American Asian - an
"oppressed minority" here in the U.S. yet a citizen
of the great global imperial power when visiting across the
Pacific. What are the responsibilities and complexities of
American identity in the post-9/11 world? What
is more difficult to face: unaware arrogance or self-hate?
And what's on TV tonight?
